So sad to say that I have to stop blogging about my Taiwan trip for awhile or … forever. FML! My hardisk is not detectable by my computer and all of the photos are in the hardisk! Bf is trying to help me to recover the data now but whether it works or not… we will know later. Hopefully everything can be solve! So damn bad luck! Previously I had one hardisk and it goes cuckoo as well. It was that hardisk that kept my Taiwan trip's photo. I'm very lucky to get back the photo previously, but this time, it's quite impossible because the whole thing can't be detected :(

Anyway, today I'm gonna blog about Umai-Ya, a Japanese restaurant located at Damansara Uptown. Woahhh, It has been quite sometime I didn't blog about any Japanese restaurant lol. Too into Korean food but still, I love Japanese food/ Sushi okay? hehehe!

Bf went to Uptown for a body check and then we found Umai-ya nearby. You know right, you can't take in any food before your blood test so he was super hungry and me too HAHA. We looked at their menu and everything seems not bad so we decided to give it a try! :)

Umai-ya restaurant is quite spacious and quite a lot of working adult customer during lunch time.

Besides ala carte dishes, they also serve Lunch Buffet on Weekend!  (Damansara Utama , and IOI Puchong Jaya Branch Only)

Salmon Maki! So sorry that I couldn't remember the name of our order and I can't even find their menu online >"<

Me: I don't know… (looking around) HAHA

I think this is a Scallop Toufu soup or something? HAHA. I don't remember the name but I remember the taste of it! Cuz I'm just soooo in love with it! The soup is fresh and thick! Scallop are big and it also comes with my fav black mushroom! NOM NOM!!! This is my top 1 dish among all of our orders on that day!

Unagi Okonomiyaki! Some people called them as Japanese Pizza lolll. This size is enough to make our tummy bloat!

Tamago wrapped prawn. They look so pretty isn't? But the taste was just okay. Not to say it's not yummy but just like the taste of tamago and prawn, there is no correct chemistry flowing in your while eating these two.

But then, the food presentation is worth taking a second photo HAHAHA :P


I think food was quite okay for Umai-ya but then the it takes some time for the food to be served.    
I read a lot of bad review about their services but it was okay for our visit, waiters were quite polite and friendly. :)
